Why didn't people have problems when Magic and Bird played with 3 hall of famers?

Consider this---Bird and Magic got their teammates involved to the point where they helped make them Hall of Famers. I'm not sure DJ, Parish or McHale would have made the Hall of Fame without Bird. Kareem would have been a Hall of Famer anyway, but Worthy owes his in parts to the help of Magic. Who has Lebron made a better player?
