What happens to chromosomes in meiosis I and meiosis II?

Prior to meiosis I, the chromosomes are replicated and then during meiosis I, the replicated chromosomes are pulled apart to the opposite poles (one chromosome with two chromatids goes to one pole, the logue with two chromatids goes to the other pole). In meiosis II, the chromatids are pulled apart and each chromatid (now a chromosome) goes to its respective pole.
