What kind of dresses do you normally wear to SADIES?

It's actually kind of a long way off, but I want to be able to think about dresses if I go. I know it depends on the school because some are casual and some are formal. But what did you guys wear to SADIE'S? And where can I get pretty cheap dresses for it. Thanks.
