Is Obama just trying to make us comfortable with terrorism scares?

Today Coast Guard has a training exercise on the Potomac, down the road from the Pentagon on 9-11. A couple of months ago he approved a jumbo jet to buzz New York City. You know people in the administration have to approve this stuff, so are they trying to get us out of reporting this kind of stuff, or are they just very, very stupid.
